505 Games Control Launch Day Charity Stream

Next week is pretty big for the team here at 505 Games and Remedy Entertainment. On Tuesday, we launch Control to the world. And what’s more, we’re using this exciting launch day to do something for an incredible charity. Let me fill you in…

On Tuesday 27th August, 505 Games will be heading over to Twitch to run a live stream of Control, in order to raise money for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital is a wonderful hospital and research facility working to change the way the world understands, treats, and defeats childhood cancer and other life-threatening diseases.

The mission of St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital is to advance cures, and means of prevention, for pediatric catastrophic diseases through research and treatment. Consistent with the vision of our founder Danny Thomas, no child is denied treatment based on race, religion or a family’s ability to pay.

In 2014, St. Jude launched St. Jude PLAY LIVE – St. Jude PLAY LIVE is where gamers can help the kids of St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital by doing what they love-playing video games. To date, PLAY LIVE has raised over $18,000,000 for the hospital.

Now, this is where 505 Games are stepping in. Join us and many wonderful guests next week from 8am PDT / 4pm BST to watch, donate and be in with a chance of winning some brilliant prizes! (That’s right, we’re running giveaways too!) See below for more info…
